Introduction to Early Childhood Education
This introductory course will provide foundational knowledge about the different theories and philosophies of early childhood education. Within the course students will learn about the different types of classrooms and the different ages of students that belong in these classrooms. Students will also become familiar with the NAEYC standards and what they mean for teachers. Students will complete a research project in which they create a philosophy and a classroom based on what they have learned.
