Welcome to Young Children's Literacy in the Curriculum! (ETAP 240)
In this fully online course, you will examine and implement various models for literacy development in young children (PreK through grade
2). This course builds on previous knowledge of language environment and language experiences fostering young children’s literacy. Collaboratively,
students will work together to conduct research on children’s literacy, create
a literacy lesson plan, and ultimately create their own literacy pack for a PreK
– 2nd Grade curriculum topic of their choice.
