This course will explore the basics of color theory in print and web design, terminology,implications of color harmonies, and the psychological interpretations as it relates to design. The exploration will consist of theory, discussion sessions and hands-on exercises. Students will be given the opportunity to gain basic concepts in practical areas of color science.The class will also let students analyze how to solve visual color challenges in an effective manner so they can be inspired to be creative in generating designs that have a unique and outstanding use of color.
