Children's Literature
In this course, students will explore the diversity of children’s literature in the classroom. A variety of book genres will be explored, including but not limited to, fantasy, science fiction, and folktale. By comparing the variety of genres, students will learn how to plan lessons around children’s literature. In addition to less planning, students will also learn what a children's book is in it's entirety. This is a teacher development course targeting grades K-5.
