Solving mathematical word problems can be tricky, but we will be looking into how to break them down in order to optimize understanding. In this course, students will be learning how to navigate word problems by using strategies such as: identifying key words, translating the meaning of what these words tell you to do, and organizing your work. There will be a variety of types of word problems with opportunities to solve in numerous ways. Students will share their ideas and collaborate with others in order to improve their understanding.
