Welcome to 2nd grade math! In this course, you will learn different strategies and methods you can use to add and subtract two and three digit numbers. In the end you will be able to utilize the strategy that works best for YOU. We will be spending 2 weeks on each of the following topics: 

1. Arrow Way

2. Number Bond Simplifying 

3. Tape Diagram

4. Place Value Disks

5. Decomposition Method

6. Word Problem Incorporation 


What is unique about these different strategies, is that they appeal to all types of learner. Some of the strategies use manipulatives, some you visual drawings, and others use simple pencil and paper. In the end YOU decide what works best for YOU.
