Course Topic: Global Literature
This course studies literature from around the globe including Latin and Central America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the like. The curriculum shares insight into the history and cultures of many groups, enabling us to make connections and widen our worldview. The units focus not only on geographical regions but also on universal themes that allow students’ input into their learning experiences. Throughout the course, you will become aware of the authors’ viewpoints and are able to think critically by drawing upon their scope of knowledge.
