Have you ever wondered about the weather or wished that you could predict when it was going to storm?
Throughout this online course, you will learn about weather variables, weather patterns, and severe weather. Using scientific skills such as observation, analysis, measurement, inference, prediction, and communication, you will produce weather forecasts based on past and present weather conditions in your area. In this course, we will also take a look at past severe weather such as thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and blizzards. You will select one severe weather event that interests you and create a project of your choice to inform other people about the severe weather event and give them tips on how to protect themselves during these events.
