In this course, a short Spanish novel will be used to explore vocabulary, basic grammatical concepts, and culture. Students will develop, reinforce, and refine communicative competency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Cultural competency will also be developed and explored throughout the course. This course is designed to enhance proficiency in the target language and is appropriate for novice students. The goal of the course is to bring students from a novice low proficiency level to a novice high or intermediate low level.
