In this course, students will have an opportunity to work on Common Core math standards for third grade. During this course students will be introduced to multiplication and will have the opportunity to become fluent in their multiplication facts up to products of 100. Students will then take what they learned about multiplication and apply it to area and perimeter. Students will be introduced to the idea of equivalent fractions and will learn how to multiply fractions with the goal of adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. Finally, students learn more about polygons and be introduced to the different attributes associated with them.
