Welcome to Intro to Short Story Writing! This is a secondary-level English elective course. This course will build a foundation for understanding the essential elements of well-developed short stories. We will read and analyze several texts to understand the techniques used by authors when writing short stories. Towards the end of the semester, you will be using the knowledge you learned throughout this course to write your own story. This class will contain a mix of independent and collaborative assignments.
